Description
Vertical lathe can be divided into CNC VTL machine and Manual VTL machine. Vertical lathe can make rough and accurate turning of inner& outer cylinder surface, cone surface, grooving and flatting . CNC VTL machine is different than manual VTL machine. CNC VTL lathe machine can process rotating surface and do threading function.
Remarkable CNC VTL machine with live tooling has the following features:
1 High rigidity gantry frame structure, large cross-section column and crossbeam, box-shaped structure, optimization reinforcement, all large workpieces are analyzed by finite element to ensure rigidity under stress condition.
2 Main parts include beds, base, worktable, beam, vertical sliding rest, side tool box, feed box, main drive gearbox etc.
3 Main drive is provided by DC motor (two-step speed-change) or AC motor (16-step speed-change) to engage in table speed-change.
