Traditional braking resistors are replaced by Active Front End (AFE) to reduce heat energy!AFE does not dissipate excessive heat into air but converts it into reusable power that can be back to the mains.AFE is a controllable rectifier with advantages such as providing bidirectional power exchange between AC and DC power and regenerating reusable power to the mains to reduce the cost of power.
AFE for 4-quadrant load applications is designed for cranes, cargo elevators, passenger elevators, oil production machines, specially apply for oil field, coal-mine field.
