We not only offer sebacic acid but also dioctyl sebacate. Dioctyl sebacate is colorless or light yellow transparent liquid with special smell. Its melting point is -55??C, and the boiling point is 248??C. The refractive index is 1.449-1.451, the relative density is 0.91. It is insoluble in water but soluble in alcohols, ethers, ketones, aromatic hydrocarbons, aliphatic hydrocarbons and other organic solvents. It is partially soluble in certain amines and polyols. Dioctyl sebacate is compatible with polyvinyl chloride, vinyl chloride copolymers, ethyl cellulose, polystyrene, polymethyl methacrylate and synthetic rubber.
