Description
500KV power transmission line also belongs to Extra-high voltage power transmission project. With development of china power grid and technology, extra voltage like 500KV is widely used in power transmission and distribution line.
500KV transmission line carries double or multi-circuits conductors. For a three-phase system, this implies that each tower supports three conductors. Three-phase electric power systems are used for high voltage (66KV or 69kV and above) and extra-high voltage AC transmission lines. The towers must be designed to carry three (or multiples) conductors. The towers are usually steel lattices or trusses, both tubular and lattice steel towers can be designed so as to support single-circuit or multi-circuits of electrical current.
