Introductions:
Ferrochrome (FeCr) is an alloy of chromium and iron containing between 50% and 70% chromium.
The ferrochrome is produced by electric arc melting of chromites, an iron magnesium chromium oxide and the most important chromium ore. Most of the world& acute;s ferrochrome is produced in South Africa, Kazakhstan and India, which have large domestic chromites resources. Increasing amounts comes from Russia and China.
Usage and Faciliyies:
(1) Used as alloying element in steel-making.Mainly used to produce stainless steel;
(2) Various product model determined by different producing craft and equipment;
(3) Heighten the rate of alloy utilization to reduce the cost, and bring more profits.
