Description
Mechanical filter press is mainly used for the material of slow dehydration, higher viscosity; long filtering cycle and low filtration pressure. Instead of high temperature material, it’s more suits for the small filter industry. It’s applied to the filter industry of comparatively lower pressure, such as 0.4Mpa to 0.6Mpa and longer filtering cycle.
When the mechanical pressure filter works, electric motor drives the reducer, and the transmission components push the compression plate to contract filter plates. The filter plates are clamped together, and then a pump starts feeding the slurry into the filter press to complete a filtering cycle and produce a batch of solid filtered material, called the filter cake. The stack of plates is opened, solid is removed, and the stack of plates is re-clamped and the filtering cycle is repeated
It is widely used as the ideal solidliquid separation in these areas, such as petroleum, chemical industry, pigment, metallurgy, pharmacy, food, paper, coal and sewage process, etc.
