and a rough equation for how many panels you would need:
STC rating ( solar panel) x 1.5= kWh a year per solar panel
What I remember when power inverters came out with this two years ago I suggested that when the Condenser wasn& acute;t running that the power come back through the disconnect and be utilize somewhere else in the house .
But I also remember it was pricey and that you& acute;d be better off just a Solar inverter system designed for the house rather just enough power to supplement the condenser fan motor.
