Description

Pultruded FRP gratings is a kind of sheet with gap and it is made by certain assembly technique. I-shape or T-shape profiles which are formed by pultrusion are used as bearing rid and pipes or bars are used as connection rod. It has very high strength in bearing rid direction and it is usually used in large span conditions.

The resin that is used for manufacturing pultruded FRP grating is the same as that of molded FRP grating. It includes m-phthalate unsaturated polyester resin, o-phthalate unsaturated polyester resin, bisphenol A type unsaturated polyester resin, vinyl ester resin, epoxy resin and phenolic resin.

Pultruded FRP gratings have similar advantages to molded FRP gratings, such as corrosion and chemicals resistance, water and rust resistance, high temperature and fire resistance, solid structure, electrical and thermal insulating, easy installation and maintenance free. They are mainly used for walkway, platform, flooring, bridge decking and trench cover.
