Lithopone
Description
Lithopone is a kind of lithopone whose hiding power is better than that of zinc oxide and worse than that of titanium dioxide. It has good heat-resistance and is insoluble in water. It does not react with sulfured hydrogen and bases. It will decompose and produce sulfured hydrogen consequently when comes across acids. Its color will change after solarization for a long time but can return to its original color in dark place. It is a kind of important material in coatings, paints, rubbers, printing inks, paper, porcelain enamel, leathers and plastics.
