This is the brief, paraphrased version of the big bang theory. Basically what it says is that the whole universe was originally packed into something the size of a marble, and then something caused it to explode, creating everything that we can see. This is the most accepted theory of how our universe came into existence. It explains why everything is moving away from everything else, ever expanding. But it still does not answer the question of where it all came from. If the whole universe was condensed into this small marblesized & quot;singularity& quot;, where did that marble come from? How did it come to be? Is this where & quot;God& quot; comes into play? I& acute;m not going to go into religion too much, as I don& acute;t want to offend anyone and I would rather stick to the science as much as possible. The big bang theory DOES answer questions and explain a lot of phenomena, but as it answers questions, it also creates more questions.
