Description

Dihydroartemisinin (or dihydroqinghaosu) is a drug used to treat malaria. Dihydroartemisinin is the active metabolite of all artemisinin compounds (artemisinin, artesunate, artemether, etc.) and is also available as a drug in itself. It is sold commercially in combination with piperaquine and has been shown to be equivalent to artemether-lumefantrine.
Piperazine belongs to the family of medicines called anthelmintics. Anthelmintics are used in the treatment of worm infections. Piperazine is used to treat common roundworms (ascariasis) and pinworms (enterobiasis; oxyuriasis). Piperazine works by paralyzing the worms. They are then passed in the stool.

This product is available in the following dosages:
Dihydroartemisinin (16mg) + Piperaquine Tablets (160mg)
Dihydroartemisinin (32mg) + Piperaquine Tablets (320mg)
Dihydroartemisinin (40mg) + Piperaquine Tablets (320mg)

Dihydroartemisinin + Piperaquine Tablets are available in the following packaging:
8 tablets / blister, 1 blister / box;
8 tablets / blister, 3 blisters / box;
